Nothing’s Carl Pei shares predictions for 2023

In a series of tweets on New Year’s Day, Nothing Founder Carl Pei shared his predictions for the technology sector in 2023. One of the most notable predictions made by Pei was that “at least one AI killer app will emerge.”

Pei, who co-founded the tech company known for its wireless earbuds and other consumer electronics, did not elaborate on what he thinks this killer app might be, but his prediction has generated a lot of speculation and excitement among tech enthusiasts.

In addition to his prediction about AI, Pei also offered his thoughts on the future of social media. According to Pei, Twitter will do particularly well in the coming year, thanks in part to Elon Musk’s increased involvement on the platform. However, Pei believes that Tesla, the electric car company founded by Musk, will become “just another car brand.”

Pei also touched on the topic of remote work, stating that the hybrid model – in which employees work both from home and in the office – will fade in favor of either full remote or full on-site work. He did not offer any further details about why he believes this will be the case.

These predictions from Pei have garnered a lot of attention, with many people eager to see if his predictions come true. While it is always difficult to predict the future of technology with certainty, Pei’s insights and experiences as a successful tech entrepreneur make his predictions worth paying attention to.

It will be interesting to see how the technology sector evolves in the coming year, and whether Pei’s predictions about AI and other aspects of the industry come to fruition. Regardless of what the future holds, it is clear that technology will continue to play a significant role in our lives, shaping the way we work, communicate, and interact with the world around us.
