Reports claim that Apple testing under-display Touch ID

Despite having tested the technology, Apple will not include Touch ID on its next iPhone models.

Apple has conducted tests of the in-screen Touch ID feature for the iPhone.

Apple has reportedly proposed incorporating Touch ID into the power button of its devices.

Several previous rumors have speculated that Apple may bring back the Touch ID feature on iPhones in the near future.

However, these are only rumors and there has been no actual implementation.

On the iPhone 5s that was released by Apple in 2013, the Touch ID fingerprint biometric sensor made its debut.
